Maybe not crow per se. Maybe more like a crow
casserole. But there's crow in it, for sure.
It has to do with AI.
You may have read in my other newsletter about some of my feelings about the culture behind AI -- e.g., that anything that does something faster must be better, that raw "efficiency" ought to be our primary value, or that we should welcome AI art and entertainment (art and entertainment were the kinds of things AI was supposed to free us from drudgery so we
ourselves could go create them!).
I still agree with all that.
I am all for technology that frees me up to do other things and helps me enjoy more leisure, but the all-encompassing hype behind AI turned me off.
And I think it made me throw out the baby with the bathwater.
I got to talking to my mastermind guys, all of whom are very smart and accomplished, and
none of whom are juvenile or chasing a fad, and they told me I was indeed throwing out the baby with the bathwater.
They do not turn their noses up at it. They showed me very specific ways it has been improving their bottom lines. Big time.
It's been so significant in the business growth of a good chunk of my guys that we just added a monthly AI call as an extra feature of the mastermind in between our in-person meetings.
I insist to you: these are some of the most impressive guys you'll ever meet, and they are using it.
And let's face it: who isn't on some level attracted to the idea of having a personal or administrative assistant you can send texts to and ask it to perform tasks?
We hear about people who have set it up like that and they seem like magicians to us.
But no matter
how out of the loop you've been on this, you can get something like this set up for yourself in no time flat.
Imagine having hundreds of hours a year back. I mean that. Hundreds.
Now YOU can be the magician.
