The New York Post, of all places,
just ran a column by a socialist who's had it up to here with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's shenanigans.
He says -- correctly -- that her various stunts have won her plenty of attention, but have accomplished precisely nothing in the real world.
And frankly, they're obviously self-serving, and they're getting pretty irritating.
Shut off the Twitter account and ax the stunts, he says, and go do something.
I agree to a point, but building up her visibility will surely make her stronger, and can help get attention for her ideas.
But still, the guy is right: you can't be all stunts and Tweets.
It's like businesses and entrepreneurs who are excited about how many Facebook likes they have.
What counts are sales, not likes. You can't buy a sandwich with likes.
Email marketers likewise get all excited about what percentage of people open their emails. But these percentages, too, don't pay bills. Sales pay bills.
Focus.
As we kick off 2019, I'll help you learn the stuff that actually matters for a successful online business. You can email me for 30 days, and I'll help you along.
Don't flounder and later wish you did this.
Since I can't have 10,000 people emailing me, I'm shutting this offer down tomorrow:
