I just finished recording an episode of the
Tom Woods Show with Pat Flynn, who's a great fitness guy and entrepreneur who also advises the great Michael Malice on his fitness regimen.
He's got a new book: How to Be Better at (Almost) Everything.
It's one of the few personal development books that isn't waste-your-time fluff. This old fogey got a lot out of it -- and it's written by a 29-year-old whippersnapper.
Key point: don't hyperspecialize.
Lots of reasons for this advice, but trust me, it's sound.
Notice that I've enjoyed a fair amount of success without being the world's foremost authority on labor history in the 1920s, or the political history of the Democratic Party during the Gilded Age.
At the same time, especially in your business, you shouldn't go pursuing every possible avenue willy-nilly, either: Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, SEO, Pinterest, email marketing, YouTube, webinars, print newsletters, etc.
Focus on the essentials you need to know, and get good at them.
You don't have to be the world's foremost expert.
Just good.
And I'll help you.
I'll help you identify the five things you certainly should know if you want to make 2019 unlike 2018 with that online business you keep meaning to start.
And I'll give you 30 days of direct email access to me.
I know a lot about this stuff. I went from a zero-knowledge, practically anti-entrepreneurial academic to a guy who makes a very comfortable living with more or less just a laptop.
But with a busy schedule I have to limit the number of people I give email access to me.
So at midnight tonight, the doors close.
Help me help you:
