If you're like me, you feel wistful and nostalgic when you think back to the Ron Paul Revolution days.
I devoted episode #1310 of the Tom Woods Show to a roundtable discussion with several grassroots leaders from those days (one of whom I'm having dinner with tonight as he passes through town).
I met amazing people during those years: smart, talented, dedicated, and so much fun to know. That's one of the great gifts we all received during those years.
I can't prove it, but I feel sure I wouldn't have said the same had I attended Fred Thompson rallies, or gone to a Mitt Romney event.
Well:
My friend Mick McKay, who hosted Radio Free Market during those days, gave me a big surprise a few weeks ago.
Turns out he's followed me ever since the 2008 Ron Paul campaign, and that he's even on this email list.
He implemented strategies I recommended, and now he's pulling in an extra $3K per month in his retirement.
He recently wrote:
"The lesson I learned from meeting and following Tom:
"Meet as many good people who are committed to learning and achieving that you can -- and keep in touch with them. That way you get to grow from how they themselves continue to grow. Win win."
I couldn't be happier.
So:
This is a real person I've known for over ten years. He is a Ron Paul revolutionary like you.
How'd he do it?
