Most of the mainstream, so-called respectable
libertarians I know flinch at the "enemies of the people" designation Donald Trump bestowed on the media.
I remember one who wrote a whole article about the glories and greatness of the American media, and claiming that disparaging it is "illiberal."
Wow.
My view:
Whatever else we may think about Trump, this is about the least controversial thing he's said.
Bob Murphy and I have been going back and forth in recent days about how shocked even cynics like us are at how the media handled the Covington High School story, among other things. There have been a few apologies, but by and large it's been a doubling down: the media has spread still further untruths in order not to have to abandon its original story about the wickedness of the teenagers.
Now, one of the great unsung heroes of the alternative media: Scott Horton.
He is a walking encyclopedia when it comes to American foreign policy, and he's a hardcore libertarian.
He could wipe the floor with any of the creeps on cable TV.
He tells truths that neither wing of the war party, or its compliant media, wants heard.
In a just world, Scott would have millions of listeners.
As it is, he does his important work, which educates all of us, on a shoestring budget. I donate to Scott every month because I believe in what he does.
So:
Register for the Steve Clayton webinar (costs nothing), and I'll donate ten smackers to Scott for every person who attends and stays to the end.
This is a chance to raise thousands of dollars for the heroic Scott, and surprise him with it.
But this isn't mainly a charity event.
Steve Clayton, whom you know from my podcast, has transformed the lives of so many of my listeners -- folks with zero experience, but who wanted something better, and were willing to give something new a try.
Episode 1018 of the Tom Woods Show featured listeners enjoying extraordinary success, and who thanked me for bringing Steve to their attention.
If getting off your current hamster wheel was one of your New Year's resolutions, you will not find anything more likely to help you than this presentation by Steve.
Your comfort zone has become a prison.
We're having a jailbreak:
Tom Woods
P.S. Steve is holding a bunch of sessions, but only the one at this link benefits Scott, so be sure to attend this one. Again, the link: http://www.happyearner.com/steve
