This week I've been thinking about my
favorite, and my most scary, speaking moments.
This one involves Ron Paul at his Rally for the Republic in 2008, with an audience of 10,000+ at the Target Center in Minneapolis.
He had asked singer Aimee Allen to perform the song "Universal Soldier."
When he came out to deliver his own remarks, he explained what that song meant to him.
The universal soldier? Whoever agrees to go fight in the regime's wars is the universal soldier. And it is they who make the wars possible. Talk all you want about the warmongers, but if they had no bodies to deploy, their plans would come to naught.
But then he said: I myself am the universal soldier.
When I was drafted in the 1960s, he said, I went along without protest. In my own way, I played a role in propping up the war machine.
Leave it to Ron Paul to reproach himself for having been a flight surgeon.
But it was an extraordinary moment in which he connected with the audience. You could have heard a pin drop in that 10,000-seat arena.
That's not easy.
And for a lot of people, any kind of people is not only not easy, but positively terrifying.
For the next five hours you can still get my public speaking secrets, along with Create, the video software that will make you stand out in your business or side hustle, and save you plenty of smackers at the same time.
But at midnight Eastern, it's all gone.
No, you don't have to have video for your online business. But it'll get you where you want to go a lot faster, and with fewer $0 days.
More people have thanked me for recommending Create than for anything I've recommended in the past six months.
Go get yours, and go dominate with it.
