I will never forget, in my professor days,
asking my class to name some of the areas covered under the ten amendments that comprise the Bill of Rights.
I promise I am not joking.
One student started shouting, "Thou shalt not kill!"
I ignored him.
What else was I supposed to do? An educator gets good at making ridiculous questions or answers sound semi-reasonable so as not to humiliate a student, but that one was just a bridge too far.
He didn't take the hint.
"Thou shalt not steal!"
At that point I intervened and said something to him, but I seem to have blocked out the memory -- it was so embarrassing for him that even my brain doesn't want to recall it.
Well, look.
You'll be asking me the questions, and I'll be giving what I hope are better answers than that, in my live, online Ask Me Anything session coming up soon.
Want to be a part of it? Hurry, because I'm offering it as a bonus, and it's attached to a clock that's ticking down fast.
And one more thing:
It's impossible to imagine that a session like this would be either (1) uninteresting or (2) unhelpful, right? We'd have a blast together, would we not? And you don't even need to be on camera. Just watch, and type in your questions.
Let's have some fun and do some learnin':
