Robert Kiyosaki, author of Rich Dad,
Poor Dad, tells the story of being nine years old and in the fourth grade, and asking his teacher: "When are we going to learn about money?"
And of course the horrified response was that they don't teach about that in school.
So he asked, "Why am I in school, then?"
Today he says the reason that socialism is on the rise is precisely that nobody learns anything about money in school. So they're sitting ducks for nice-sounding, civilization-destroying nonsense.
I heard Kiyosaki say all this in the first episode of Money Revealed, an excellent new documentary series featuring 36 self-made millionaires and billionaires, including several very good libertarians you and I respect.
Now by the way, Mr. Genius here got the information wrong: it's tonight, not last night, at 9pm Eastern that's the cutoff point for getting free access to the series without missing anything.
As part of the launch they're releasing an episode per day and then pulling it to make way for the next one. So you've got until tonight to get in and see the Kiyosaki episode.
It's true, I've emailed you quite a bit about this, but that's because some of you otherwise lovely and wonderful folks still haven't signed up, and for the life of me I cannot imagine a decent reason not to.
Seriously, don't make me come over there.
If you go sign up this very second, all is forgiven.
