Everybody knows Donald Trump is a
bit, well, different.
In his rally speeches he’s often just riffing. As Dave Smith points out in his comedy special Libertas, you’ll never hear another politician look around at the crowd, in the middle of a speech, and say “What else?” before spontaneously jumping into a new topic.
No measuring every word. Just saying what he wants to say.
It shouldn’t need to be said that it doesn’t matter if you like him or not. It’s just interesting that this is his style.
A lot of us, if we’re being honest, wish we could emulate that style: acting purely on instinct, trusting ourselves, and just going where our intuitions take us.
But we’re often afraid to.
Particularly when starting a business or some kind of income stream. Can we really trust our instincts? Instead, don’t we wish there was an instruction manual consisting of the precise steps to take, instead of fluff about waking up early in the morning or getting your mindset right?
Bill Hugall and David Kirby happen to follow a model precisely like that, as it turns out.
David wrote it all down, in an idiot-proof step-by-step do-this, then-that format.
No guesswork, no high theory that you're left to figure out how to implement.
Just do this, then that.
