My friend
Michael Malice playfully refers to me, in a Trumpian turn of phrase, as "a very failed podcaster."
I love that.
But let's be honest: I'm actually pretty good at it.
And there's a business lesson in it.
Some podcasts generate a passionate fan base, ready to follow the host wherever he takes them -- and, not incidentally, literally buy what he's selling.
Others, with just as much work invested and just as many episodes produced, elicit a collective shrug.
Why?
What's the difference?
And it's not just podcasting, obviously.
In whatever area you can think of, there's somebody who manages to build the kind of following that makes him set for life.
What do they know that others don't -- and that you'd better learn?
This, which I suggest you check out before you forget:
