Naturally, everyone is hysterical over Trump's decision to withhold funds from the World Health Organization over
its handling of the pandemic.
But as one of my academic friends writes:
"As usual the reporting on Trump's WHO decision is heavy on outrage, light on facts. According to the WSJ the US provided $453m to the WHO in fiscal 2019. Forbes reports that, as of March 31, the US had already sent $58m. Almost ignored in the news reports is that US officials say the remaining ~$400m will be repurposed for other public health programs.
"So, if you support additional federal spending on Covid-19 health care, what is the argument that these marginal dollars have a greater impact at the WHO than in buying PPE, supporting hospitals, subsidizing R&D, etc.?"
Not to mention: for 2018 and 2019, the U.S. voluntarily offered to pay an extra $656 million to the WHO, over and above the $237 million it was assessed.
Would that extra money, particularly at a time like this, not be better spent at home? How is this even debatable?
Good questions, and therefore ones you can be assured will not be asked.
It's a pandemic, for heaven's sake. You'd think some reallocation might be called for during a time like this.
And indeed, I have been telling you, dear reader, that it's time for some reallocation of your own.
Reallocate some of your hobby time to your new hobby: your simple SHTF (look it up if you don't know what it stands for) business.
Here's a program I've reviewed for you that shows you the step-by-step basics of the business you see me run every day.
Plus, I'm throwing in a bonus: my video on how to monetize your haters -- my absolute favorite thing about my business.
I cannot imagine how many people are overwhelmed with anxiety right now.
Some will get through it unscathed, or at least with damage they can cope with.
But you'd better be prepared for the next time they pull something like this.
Here's step one:
