That's what a Twitter blue check predicted some weeks ago.
All hospital beds across America would be fully occupied by May 8 (that's today, by the way).
Not only is that not even remotely true, but remember those "field hospitals" built around the country?
Many of them are now closing, and most never saw a single patient. The Javits Center did see 1095 beds out of a possible 1900 occupied. Leaving that one out, the "field hospitals" cost about $660 million, which came out to $8 million per patient.
Yet this very same blue check, far from chastened, is now listing a bunch of "social norms" we'll all have to observe from now on -- you know, in the "new normal."
Meanwhile, New York's governor sent COVID-19 patients into nursing homes, which evidently contributed to a large number of deaths.
Oh, and plot the timing of the lockdowns in the various states against their health outcomes and the result looks purely random.
Has this made them humble?
Of course not.
The field hospitals are closing, but in some circles the fearmongering is as bad as ever.
Meanwhile, people's desire to make a living is being treated like something naughty.
Well:
I've assembled some extremely practical suggestions for people concerned about making ends meet in the short run.
They include:
-- 11 ways to generate side income quickly, all offline;
-- 8 normal-person ways to generate online income, all explained;
-- 12 ways, described in detail, to generate recurring (month after month) revenue, which is really the holy grail.
I'm giving all of this away for nothing, as bonuses when you pick up a program I like very much by Eric Hammer, who himself teaches you five eminently practical things you can do, how to do them, marketplaces in which you can offer what you do.
To get these bonuses, click on the link below, get the product (it's embarrassing how inexpensive it is), and forward your receipt to bonuses@tomwoods.com.
These bonuses will be withdrawn at midnight tonight; here's the link one last time:
