Well, the old man has given in to the pressure.
For years -- and I mean that; I'm not joking -- I've had people demanding Tom Woods Show merchandise.
I thought: sounds like too much work.
But doggone it, they persisted.
So that's one of my goals for 2020: get my merch up and running.
It won't be my primary business, of course, but once I get it off the ground it's not difficult: a fulfillment center makes all the stuff for me, and I won't have to invest in inventory. The stuff is made when a customer orders it. Simple, no-headaches business model.
Now you may say: Woods, what the heck do you know about print-on-demand? There must be a learning curve involved.
There is.
I hate learning curves.
So I went to a Tom Woods Show listener who's an expert on it, and he's answering my questions.
How did he learn so much?
He learned it under the reigning expert, Rachel Rofe, who joined me for episode 1644 of the Tom Woods Show.
She designs mugs that she sells on platforms like Etsy. She has had tremendous success with this. It's the kind of business you can run with your teenager, too: it's easy to learn, and you're not at risk of losing anything.
