I just got an email from someone unfortunate enough to be stuck in Melbourne, Australia, land of
lockdowns.
Here's an excerpt:
"Your show has been a much needed sanity check during the draconian lockdown that we've been in down here since March, when my libertarian alarm was already going off in full force; little did I know what the next 6 months had in store for us.
"I've heard you touch on Melbourne's crazy Stage 4 restrictions on the show, so I'm mindful you're already somewhat aware of the situation down here, where they keep extending the lockdown without any trace of a plan or reason for why they're doing it. Their new catch phrase to shut down any opposing voices to it is: 'It's not about human rights, it's about human lives.'
"Having said that, I wanted to bring your attention to a statement from our police commissioner on Friday regarding some planned freedom protests, which runs totally counter to the statement he gave in June related to the #BlackLivesMatter protests, in where they actively endorsed 10,000+ people gathering here in the Melbourne CBD in the middle of this pandemic (2 weeks before we had our 'second wave' spike, which led to this unending authoritarian nightmare
we're currently living through now).
"I would never want to make demands on your time; but if you do have any interest, I think you'll have fun playing a game of 'spot the difference' from these two articles containing statements from the same police commissioner."
I'm sure you can use your imagination as to the double standard involved.
These poor folks have been stuck in their houses for 23 hours a day.
Their businesses have been wrecked.
And they know that at a moment's notice, they can be shut down again and again.
People are desperate, all over the world.
And for those who can, they will make sure they cannot get screwed again.
They are looking for answers.
How can I support myself via a business that cannot be shut down?
You can help them.
You can, just moments from now, have a full-blown academy set up full of quality Udemy-level courses that teach precisely the knowledge and skills people are hungry -- even desperate -- for.
And you earn the dough on the courses -- courses that have already been created.
We're on to new things next week, so this is it.
Do well by helping others:
