I have friends who say no.
They say: the TSA never went away after 9/11.
I think that's too pessimistic.
Most people don't travel by air very much, if at all. If they do, it's once every five years.
In other words, the TSA isn't in their faces 24 hours a day.
This is different.
But:
Even though I'm not as pessimistic as some of my friends, there's still this:
We don't know how long this will last, or if/when another round of arbitrary restrictions (in the name of "science") we'll be subjected to.
So:
Better to be prepared.
