I just got an email that went like this (excerpts below):
"I'm a Venezuelan who fled from communism....
"When we arrived in Chile 3 years ago, we enrolled our son in the local public education system, and I remember it being far superior to what we had in our country.
"However, last year we saw MAJOR changes. They now sound EXACTLY like the kind of education we used to have in Venezuela. It was horrible, and our son told us horrible stories of what happened in the classroom.
"He's very smart, though. He started learning English by himself a couple of years ago, so I started thinking about enrolling him in the Ron Paul Curriculum. I spent a year pondering about it. I was afraid that him not being a native speaker, he would not be able to catch up, or that the subjects would be so different that he might as well think American kids were from another planet....
"To my surprise, he took the challenge. He didn't understand every word, but he would look them up. He has been eager to start class every day.... He's happier than ever....
"I just wanted to say thank you.... We love you, Tom!"
Beautiful.
No matter what the crazy school system does, that student will be fine.
They simply seceded.
There is a lesson here.
When things become insane, and are beyond your ability to control, secede.
That's what's happening in the private sector, which is more and more under the control of control freaks and crazies.
Secede.
Build something of your own instead.
Here's how:
