That's what a hostile person on Twitter told me after I retweeted an item about affirmative action. (There is
something wrong with my Twitter critics, but that's a subject for another day.)
My reply:
"That's a relief. I'm always afraid I'll lose my job as HOST OF THE TOM WOODS SHOW."
Zing.
"Welcome to the Tom Woods Show. I'm your host, Levon Sarkisian." Doesn't really work. I think I'm safe.
Nice to have a job you can't be fired from.
OK, not everyone wants to have a podcast. No problem. But you can't get fired from your online side hustle, either.
Today is the final day to hop on board with Aidan Booth and Steve Clayton, who have trained so many of my (mostly newbie) folks in eCommerce in the past.
One of my supporters said of last year's program:
"Their program is the best, most comprehensive, most hands-on course I've taken. I learned a ton. I'd recommend it to anyone interested.
"By hands-on, I mean hands-on from both ends of the deal: They give you a ton of tools to actually put their training into action and a support community for mutual assistance, and they really take feedback into account and work it in to subsequent weeks' training. I still get emails a year later letting me know things have been updated. They bend over backwards."
And I'm happy to report: of course no inventory, no physical store, and no mortgage (duh, it's an online store), but also no Facebook ads, no Amazon, and no Shopify.
Two live calls remain, and then (as the train at the Atlanta airport says) the doors are closing and will not reopen:
