One thing I noticed years ago was that neoconservatives -- and left-liberals, too, but that's another story --
support each other.
One of them releases yet another forgettable, mediocre book, and it's featured everywhere: magazines, television, podcasts, YouTube, conferences, whatever.
Libertarians don't have that.
For one thing, we don't have the numbers or the reach these people have.
For another, libertarians are too internally divided to pull something like that off.
So this is a further reminder of the principle I've been hammering home this week:
You're on your own, my friend.
If you have something to promote, whether a book, or a great new product, or a service you offer as a business or a freelancer, you can't rely on anyone else to get the word out for you. And it's frustrating to the point that most people -- maybe even you, dear reader, in the past? -- give up right here and go back to that job they hate.
Or maybe there's another way?
Here's a simple way to get people to want to spread the word about you, so you can multiply your reach many times over.
If a bunch of people came to you and said, "We'd like to help you publicize what you do, and you don't really have to pay us," I doubt you'd slam the door in their faces.
Well, here they are, knocking.
Open the door for them.
