When I first launched this mailing list five years ago, one of the first emails I sent got me a whole bunch of
complaints.
I wrote to tell people that Bluehost, the web hosting company, was having a very short sale and that it was temporarily possible to lock in unusually low rates for hosting.
This is a list for people interested in online business, and since most online businesses require a website, you'd think information like this would be a teensy bit relevant.
I think I got 10 complaints sent to my email autoresponder service, more than I've ever received for any email.
For the life of me I cannot understand why. What the heck were these people expecting to be notified about on a list like this if not a discount on the one thing I know they all need?
Well, nuts to those people.
I'm doing it again.
Because over the next 24 hours, Bluehost is having the best sale I've seen.
Normally you need to commit to (and pay up front for) 36 months of hosting to get their lowest rates. The rates may not seem so low when you need to cough up that much dough all at once.
But until tomorrow at midnight you can get hosting for a ridiculously low $2.95 per month while only committing to 12 months.
If you're even considering starting a website or blog, why not lock in that rate while you can?
Not to mention:
When you get your hosting through my Bluehost link, ol' Woods here has a bunch of gifts for you that don't cost you a thing -- chief of which is free publicity to my podcast audience for your new site, so you won't have to worry that you'll launch it and no one will visit you.
This page describes my gifts, links you to a quick step-by-step video showing you how to be up and running with your own blog five minutes from now, and includes the Bluehost link you need to use:
You have until tomorrow and then the sale ends, so click away!
