Today was rather a trying day.
My appointment for LASIK surgery finally arrived.
It went fine.
But man, it looked like I was having an MRI done.
And when I read the paper I had to sign -- yikes.
Oh, you'll experience burning and stinging and you'll need to wear sunglasses for 24 hours straight and then eye drops every 15 minutes all day while awake and then four times a day for the next several months, and two other kinds of drops four times a day for the first week, and so on.
I can deal with the no skydiving for two weeks part.
Anyway:
They soon realized that I was part of the minority of patients who would need a Valium, so I took it.
At that point, it didn't matter what they did to me.
It's at this moment that I transition into our business for the day.
But you know what?
It's a miracle I'm managing to write to you at all.
So, directly on to business.
So for ol' Woods here, but mostly for yourself, do this.
