Well, the good guys won one yesterday.
Trust me, what you are about to read ends happily.
Whatever your opinion of the Libertarian Party, it's pretty pathetic for a state chapter to go through all of 2020 without a single complaint about lockdowns and the Fauci regime. And there was plenty of irrationality and destruction to complain about in Nevada, which had probably the worst state chapter in the country.
The Nevada LP would have died a thousand deaths before opposing the establishment's expert. Why, that would be crankish!
So not a single word about lockdowns from the Nevada LP.
Oh, they did post something in favor "free-market" vaccine passports. They managed to pencil in the time to do that.
They've also been known for ridiculing the nonaggression principle, which is the moral foundation of libertarianism. One of their board members, who like all of them hated Murray Rothbard, disputed that Rothbard even belonged to the Austrian School, despite testimonies to the contrary from such nobodies as Ludwig von Mises, Henry Hazlitt, and F.A. Hayek. (Not to mention: who could read Rothbard's economic work and wonder what school he belonged to?)
A board member also defended the atomic bombings of Japan: our sociopaths were angry at their sociopaths, you see, so women and children caught in the middle deserved to be incinerated.
That is how a normie thinks, not someone who's taken the red pill.
And although they wouldn't have known libertarianism if it had punched them in the face, they sure couldn't jump on every fashionable leftist bandwagon fast enough.
And of course, their enemies were "alt Right," "Nazis," "fascists," etc. No non-leftist speaks in this hysterical way, so you now know still more about them.
And just to make things even more fun, a former chair stole from the state party treasury to pay for cocaine and prostitutes. When a member of the board was confronted about this, he explained that although they did indeed cover this up and not tell party members about it because they needed this person as chair at the time, as soon as they no longer needed him they stopped letting him do all that stealing.
What a ****show.
Yesterday was the LP Nevada state convention.
And every single lunatic was driven from every single elected position, and replaced by normal people who don't despise libertarianism, and who think the lockdowns may in fact have been a problem.
It was absolutely glorious.
Every leftist weirdo, gone.
They knew resistance to their absurdities was coming, but there was nothing they could do about it at that point.
Now, my friend, I want you to think.
Their situation was hopeless. They were trying to run a state Libertarian Party chapter while despising libertarianism.
Yours is not hopeless.
But:
Are you planning to devise your SHTF plan ten minutes before the S hits the F?
Not smart.
That's what most people will do, and it won't go well.
I am constantly amazed at how few serious, responsible people I meet. Nothing will ever go wrong, I'll cross that bridge when I come to it, now pass me a beer.
Well, here's the final, one-session webinar explaining it all. Stu McLaren is the best guy in the world on the subject of building a membership -- which creates a stable, regular, recurring income that the SOBs can't take away from you.
You will instantly understand why I have been insisting on this for weeks.
There are plenty of other topics I could have been covering during that time.
But I've run a successful membership for nine years, and I don't know how I could live without it now.
Why not do something you love, and also not have anxiety 24 hours a day for a change?
