Today I was reviewing what Andrew Cuomo said about New York's COVID policies in the future.
He said New York would adopt the CDC's new guidelines on masking and distancing for the vaccinated (i.e., neither is necessary), but that the immunocompromised and unvaccinated should continue to mask and social distance.
Did you catch the weasel word?
"Should."
Note that the word "required" doesn't appear there.
These people choose their words carefully.
Is it possible that after all his bluster about needing the vaccine to participate in society, he's blinked?
That does happen.
Governor DeWine is lifting all restrictions in Illinois even though from what I can see, the state never reached the case level he said was necessary for them to be lifted.
All the same, the very fact that we have to scrutinize every word the lizard people utter in order to figure out whether we'll be able to have freedom or not is a bad thing.
And unfortunately, these days we feel surrounded by bad things: COVID craziness, wild spending and debt, critical race theory, schools that can't stand us, and -- among many other things -- a very uncertain future.
So when some documentary filmmakers asked if I'd consent to be interviewed for their new docuseries called Endgame, I jumped at the chance.
I talked about the nature of what we're facing, but I also talked about practical things we can do in our own lives to live freer.
You'll want to see the whole series, I promise.
