I used to get made fun of in school, usually because I was interested in things I wasn't supposed to be.
In seventh grade I was extremely interested in politics, because it affected everyone.
Let's just say the other kids made perfectly clear that this was not something I could get away with having an interest in without being ridiculed and diminished.
I didn't care what they thought, though, and I persisted in having my own interests.
These days when I get made fun of it's always affectionately.
And if there’s one thing Michael Malice makes fun of me for, it’s my well-known eBooks.
In fact, whenever there’s a social media thread that involves joking about me, the eBooks are always front and center. They’ve come to be associated with my name.
I’ve released eBooks on COVID, the police, health care, guns, the military-industrial complex, financial “deregulation,” and a lot more. They don’t cost the reader anything.
Now of course I can laugh about the joking, which is meant in good fun, but the fact is this: I’m able to support my five daughters with those eBooks.
To get the eBooks a visitor needs only to provide an email address.
The resulting email list is where I do all of my writing these days. I provide good content in it every weekday. That’s how I’ve managed to attract – and keep – a huge number of people on it.
And then – just like a radio show, which provides content and then plays an ad – I offer something that will help the people who read me: like the Ron Paul homeschool program, or my Liberty Classroom subscription site, or documentaries on topics of interest to us.
That’s how I take something free and use it to generate the income on which my family and I live.
This is the kind of model countless people use to do exactly what I do.
If people had any idea how lucrative an email list can be, they would drop everything and build one.
The Tom Woods Email Domination Program teaches people, through a series of over-the-shoulder videos, how to do exactly that.
I walk people through both the building and the monetizing of an email list.
And for just a few days I am letting people buy the rights to resell this product as if it were their own and keep all the dough, without ever owing me another cent.
I'll tell you right here: it costs $97 for the product plus the resale rights, and the one rule is that you may not sell it for less than $47.
