I'll start by saying this: my kids have zero interest in doing what I do. And that's OK.
Of the ones old enough to have reasonable thoughts on the subject, all plan to go into traditional careers. They respect what I do, with all my libertarian work, but it's not for them.
Even so, I want them to have a fallback of some kind, in case they should ever hit hard times. So when possible, I give them tips related to what I do online, and how it is that while we're at the beach, my phone notifies me that I've just earned enough in commissions to pay for every activity we do.
Adults want a fallback
like this, too, of course. And of all the emails I've received, I would say by far the topic people are most interested in is affiliate marketing.
That's where you earn a commission if people order something through your link. One of the most popular (if not quite so lucrative) such programs is Amazon's. Virtually every blogger uses the Amazon affiliate program.
Why is it so popular?
As an affiliate you don't have to create a product, ship anything, deal with customer service, or any of that. You just deposit the checks.
